I’m so excited to share our Halloween decor for this year as part of the Blogger Stylin’ Home Tours put on by my friend Lindsay from White Buffalo Styling Co. I was excited to get decorating early, as this baby is scheduled to come the week following Halloween. I wanted to make sure the house was looking festive before things got too whacky around here.
If you’re coming from Zevy Joy, welcome! I hope you’ll stay awhile! Annie’s style seems so carefree and comfortable.
Let’s jump right into the tour, shall we? First, you may remember last year’s decor. This year, I kept a few of the same elements, but added in a few new items, and switched up the color scheme. I found the bright red mums at Costco, right when they put them out and loaded up two carts. I can’t get enough of them!
To add some texture, I found the white and black dyed cloth at Target for super cheap. I want to say $4.99 each? The pumpkins came from a local family owned nursery who always has the prettiest variety. Headstones and stick on spiders also from Target!
Moving indoors now, I tend to lean toward the less is more theme when it comes to Halloween decor inside. Ruby and Anna are still very young and easily scared, so we don’t go over the top with the spooky.
I found these brass bat at Homegoods and one of our favorite Halloween stories is Bats on the Beach. Ruby said he needed a home on our mantle! I love him.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to Inspired by Charm tomorrow morning. Michael’s decor is consistently among my favorite. He is so talented! And follow the rest of the tour for today below:
Tomorrow is another great lineup! I’ll update the list tomorrow so you can follow along. Happy Haunts!
