Patriotic Holiday Decor for the 4th of July

As this 4th of July weekend is upon us we can’t help but look at past years. Holidays always give us a chance to reflect and feel gratitude for the times we have had together as a family. While this 4th of July looks different for us this year with all the chaos of moving, we are hoping we will sneak in some time as a family and maybe even throw together a last-minute barbeque.
If you are looking for something to make this weekend, this steak marinade is Jon’s favorite meal! We love to make it around the 4th and even made it for Fathers Day weekend. It’s definitely a recipe that you will want to hold onto that is perfect for summer grilling!
One of our favorite ways to celebrate the 4th is through decorating our home. The 4th of July sits right in that time frame between major holidays so it’s fun to be able to change things around a bit and add in some patriotic accents after having a lull in holiday decor. While we love holiday decor, we’re firm believers that it needs to be done tastefully.
