Project Valley Views: Powder Room, Mudroom, & More Spaces

We’re heading back to Project Valley Views today with a look at some of the spaces we didn’t get to in during our last reveals of this project. Let’s start with the Powder Room, off the entry and family room and not far from the kitchen.
Powder Rooms are notoriously difficult to photograph because they are so darn small. Our team really, really, REALLY loves how this one turned out. The wallpaper makes a statement without being too bold. I love the exposed plumbing on the vanity. And the artwork is a vintage piece from our new Stagg Design Shop collection launching soon! It’s amazing!
Adorable, right?! I can’t get enough. The prettiest place to wash your hands and touch up your lipstick!
Off the kitchen by way of the garage is a simple and small yet well-designed mudroom. We went bold on the cabinets and flooring because I love the view from the bright kitchen into the moody mudroom. It’s like a fun surprise view around the corner.
The front porch we couldn’t let slip by, even though the home’s landscaping wasn’t complete when we installed. We added two comfortable chairs for a sitting area, and spruced up the entry with layered rugs and flower pots in various heights.
For this new build, we worked with the clients and builder, Ivory Homes, on all of the finishes, moulding, lighting and hardware selections, etc. We didn’t furnish every room in the home, but I wanted to give you a glimpse into a few more rooms to give you an idea of the attention to detail. We love getting involved in a project from the get-go, as we find it always turns out as a more cohesive, functional and beautiful home.
