It’s my favorite time of year for porch decor– Fall. Something about a porch full of pumpkins and plants in a pretty autumn palette makes my heart sing. I like to switch things up a little from year to year and I’m just about done putting the finishing touches on this year’s setup at Stagg Reno, so I thought I would revisit one of our most pinned (like thousands and thousands of times) porch setups yet from last year.
Last year’s shoot was part of a collaboration with Deseret Book, highlighting some of their fall decor. The colors and layering of different fall flowers and foliage was so striking.
I think the key to a perfectly styled season porch is making it feel like an extension of your home. The lanterns cast a beautiful glow in the evening (I love battery operated faux candles for safety). Ours are out of stock, but these are really similar.
I always get asked about our planters. We have five of them I keep filled year round, switching out what’s inside based on season. I keep the wreath on our door looking great from year to year by storing it in a wreath box.
This year I went a bit more Halloween themed, which my girls are loving. I’ll be sharing it later this week! Also along the lines of porch styling, Stagg Design has started offering seasonal styling and this week we have a beautiful porch install! Follow behind the scenes on Instagram at @staggdesign.
My kids are back in school, at long last and I’ve got a full week ahead of fun projects. It’s going to be a great week!
