In my opinion, fall is the coziest of the seasons. And in this season of all things cozy, I want my home to feel as warm and inviting as possible. In honor of my favorite time of year, we’re revisiting some favorite past projects and we’ve rounded up some of our favorite fall decor items sure to raise the temperature in your home and make guests so at home, they may never want to leave.
It’s amazing how a mixture of textures can evoke emotion. We love to incorporate velvet or a chunky knit throw that’s soft to the touch with the change of seasons. Adding in brass accents brings out the rich colors of fall and the holidays. Everyone loves a good floral arrangement change and we are loving these oak branches in a contrasting black vase. Bringing in higher contrast and warm natural colors help your space feel warmer with the changing cold seasons approaching.
Embrace those warm tones of beige, browns, gold, reds, etc. Fall is the perfect time to go all in with warm tones. An easy switch: throw pillows and blankets, add in some fall stems in a vase, and think of materials like terracotta and copper, in both the literal sense and the color.
Don’t forget some festive fall candles or maybe a plug-in fall fragrance. I love a coffee table tray with a candle and a vase with stems. It’s an easy way to instantly make the temperature feel warm and inviting in your home.
