Did you catch our latest commercial design client project, Oak Wood Fire Kitchen? We loved upgrading this restaurant design and can’t stop thinking about all of the finishing touches. Today we’re taking a closer look at the bistro lighting, and showing you how to incorporate the look into your own home.
For Oak, we went with a lot of globe lighting. Globe lighting is soft and really helps set the mood in a dining space. We love globes in both chandeliers and pendants.
An over scale pendant can help ground a space and make it feel intimate, even in a large room. Think of a dining or reading nook in a family gathering space. For our client, large pendants over the booths make it feel like a special spot just for dining guests.
In Oak, we went with a combination of brass, black, globes, and shades for pendants, chandeliers, and sconces. These are some of our favorite bistro style lighting options, at great price points!
