Client Reveal: Project Paint it All

February 22, 2020

This post is from our Stagg Design project archives and originally posted in November 2015. We hope it gives you inspiration and some tips for tackling that next project! xx- Team Stagg

I know many of you are mourning the loss of the gnome garden kitchen wallpaper, but today I’m going to console you with the reveal of #projectpaintitall.

As I posted yesterday, this client’s space was in desperate need of a makeover and a whole lotta paint.  I’ll post just a couple of the before photos, just to up the shock factor.

I’ll get into all the deets in just a minute, but let’s get to those after photos, shall we?

I cannot believe it’s the same house.  A lot of the brightness comes from the fresh paint, courtesy of Mr. Benjamin Moore himself.  Okay, not really, but it did come from Benjamin Moore.  Their Regal Select line was perfect for this space– a high traffic area that may need a clean up from time to time.  We used Super White (PM-1) for the walls, ceiling, moulding, open shelving, and fireplace.  You guys, are you dying over the fireplace????  I love it!

The island is Anchor Gray (2126-30) in the Advance line.

And for those of you wanting some product info, here are a few of the links (As you can understand, I don’t share all product info from client work.  Thanks for understanding!)

Thank you to Benjamin Moore for the fun collab.  #projectpaintitall should be #projectturnedoutawesome.

  6. Angela Smith says:

I just looked through those and said wow over and over. Just wow!

  7. This is gorgeous! is there any way you can share the name/brand of cabinets? or at least what the wood is? I love them so much with all the white! awesome job!

  8. Amanda Stone says:

Hi! I love it! You did an amazing job and I love the contrast of the color of the floor with the cabinets. Where are your cabinets pulls from? They look like a brass color.

  9. ela k says:

Hi! lovely kitchen! i’m also interested where i can find those cabinet pulls?

  10. Lauren says:

Hi! Love everything about the kitchen! I was wondering if you refinished the wood floors and if so what type of stain did you use? Do you know what type of wood they are? Thanks for any information!

  11. Lauren says:

Thank you for the response! One more question 🙂 I noticed you have a few skylights in the kitchen and solar tubes in the living area. Did you notice they made a huge difference in the amount of natural light coming into the space? I’m considering putting some in as we re-do our kitchen.

  12. Amber says:

What an amazing transformation!! Love everything!! Could you tell me where the couch is from?

  13. Thanh Ly says:

What a great renovation! Love your style. May I ask where you got the gold globe pendants above the island?

  14. poo says:

Amazing transformation! May I ask what paint finish you have used? Semi-Gloss or Matte or gloss?

  15. Chelsea Gildea says:

Lovely! Would you be able to tell me where those gold drawer pulls came from?

  16. Kathy says:

This is gorgeous! What are the countertops made of?

  17. Jason Myopic says:

Great job! I love the skylights! Light is so important in a home, especially the kitchen. The open shelving really looks seamless against the walls. I like the windows do not have curtains or blinds, and the frosted glass panes on the door are private but still allow the light to come in.
