I love a good holiday tradition, and Halloween is full of them. Every year on Halloween, the grandparents come over and we have a Halloween Feast before trick or treating. I try to make it fun, and also keep things simple, since I also have to wrangle kids in costumes and balance the doorbell ringing with neighbor kids.
Today I’m going to share some festive Halloween dinner ideas you can whip together in minutes and still feel like a fun mom.
I like start with a charcuterie board for pretty much any dinner gathering. I love these ideas for direction. Each site has detailed item lists and directions!
I don’t love serving a lot of treats for Halloween and instead try to fill everyone up on healthy, heartier food before they head out to collect treats. We always start with soup or chili and rolls, fresh out of the oven.

Last year I discovered Great Harvest Bread (local to Utah) makes Witches Fingers Breadsticks for Halloween and they are so fun! They sell out, so go get some early if you want them!
The girls look forward very most to my dad’s Witches Brew he whips up each year in a cauldron. Essentially it’s apple juice, sprite, and dry ice. The girls think it’s so magical! If you’ve never handled dry ice, here is a great article with some tips.
