Ideas for Bathroom Styling

January 16, 2020

Whether it’s a powder or master bath, there are so many ways you can transform your bathroom into a space you love by adding styling and some practical pieces. Today our team is taking a closer look at some of our favorite client bathrooms and giving you our best tips on how you can get the look.

We place a lot of importance on a master bathroom. Touches of luxury and relaxation are placed throughout, and we love adding in a little bit of drama.

The Master Bathroom from our Blue Atlas Parade Home is all of those things. The black tile against the light gray cabinets helps add a beautiful contrast to the design and keep a sophisticated look. A great way to add in fresh and organic touches to lighten up a space is using greenery and wood accents. Diffusers are one of our favorite go to’s and keeps you feeling right at home.

You can see some of these same styling elements in action in the Stagg Reno Master Bathroom with the wood instantly grounding the bathroom, which can sometimes feel cold.

This guest suite bathroom from Project Modern family is a team favorite. We added so many fun elements to get this beautiful and modern look. Using tile and paint is a great way to break up the wall space and adds just the right amount of contrast and texture. The detailed pattern on the floor creates further interest.

If you lack counter space, consider adding a floating shelf to house soaps and lotions. We made the most of a small space by mounting on next to the sink. Add a cute rug and patterned shower curtain and you complete this look. We just love this high contrast space with almost an aged feel with the warm brass touches.

Powder bathrooms can demonstrate a great way to add more detail to your space! Choosing a fun wallpaper or artwork completely transforms it and achieve that designer look you are wanting.

Below are two powder baths from Project Modern Family.

To recap, here are our favorite simple ways to spruce up a bathroom space:

Greenery

Wood through floating shelves, stools, and unexpected elements

Pretty patterned rugs

Diffusers add in a soothing scent

Higher end bathroom accessories like a marble soap dispenser or tissue box

We’re sharing a few of our favorite bathroom styling pieces to help you spruce up your space in the new year.
