I’m fairly new to this whole motherhood thing. My little Ruby will be 10 months old this weekend (make it stop!), but being a mother is certainly something I am passionate about. This little person melts me. The very thought of her makes my heart swell, and I believe mothers can be a wonderful resource, support system, and wealth of knowledge for each other. That’s why I was so honored when Mom’s Best Network asked if they could feature Ruby and me as part of a series they are doing on motherhood. I kind of have a mom crush on Mom’s Best founder, Tana Hollows. She is inspiring, ultra chic, gorgeous, is raising five beautiful kiddies, and is nice to boot!

I don’t think one really fully understands love until they become a mother. The love I have for my little girls is something that I can’t even explain but it is what brings out the best in me. When I check on my sleeping babess at night, no matter what crumby things have happened that day, it’s like all the bad disappears and I’m left with an overwhelming sense of joy. Nothing is like a New Mother’s Love.

From the moment I found out I was pregnant with my now 15 month old, I fell completely in love. Sometimes I stare at her and think “Wow, how lucky I am to call you mine” and I think that may be a universal feeling for all mama’s. It’s an amazing kind of love, unconditional and forever a part of you.

My little sweetie is 9 months old and these have literally been the best 9 months of my life. She is such a beautiful and fun loving baby. She has given my husband and I a greater sense of love. There is no better feeling than holding your baby tight and being proud to call yourself her parent.

There’s no way to describe a new mother’s love. It’s definitely true when they say you’ll never know a love like that of a mother until you become a mom yourself. I love my 2 boys more than words can ever describe, more than anything in this world. They are my life, my joy, my sunshine.

What a great giveaway! I am not a mom yet but soon will be. I already have the love for my wonderful husband and feel that love with my unborn child. I can’t wait to meet him or her and can’t wait to feel that love grow from what I already feel!
