In this bonus episode of Heart of the Home, we’re stepping away from our regular topics. Our host, Jennifer Stagg, worked for years as an award-winning journalist before launching her interior design career full time. One of the biggest stories she covered was the disappearance of a young Utah mother, Susan Cox Powell. The story captivated the country with its bizarre twists and turns. Now, nearly a decade after her disappearance, Susan’s story is the focus of a viral podcast called Cold. In the series, host Dave Cawley takes an in depth look at the case, including the disturbing interactions between Susan, her husband Josh Powell, and father-in-law Steve Powell. For this bonus edition of Heart of the Home, Dave agreed to sit down with Jen for a one-on-one interview about what he’s uncovered so far, plus his thoughts on the case. Dave’s also giving us a special preview at what’s coming up in this week’s episode of the Cold podcast.
