I’m thrilled today to share Vivienne’s nursery with you!  First off, you’re gonna want to read all the way to the end of this post because that’s where the nursery giveaway good stuff is.  Buh-leeve me, people.  It’s a good one.

Vivie’s room is as fun and vibrant as she is.  We always say Vivie came from the happy cloud because she truly is such a joyful, sweet soul.  She inspired my Stagg Design Vivienne fabric and wallpaper print so it was only natural it serve as the launching point for her nursery.

Those little teeth kill me!  Before we go much further, I want to share the video of her nursery reveal with you where I explain the room design and sentimental details.

Let’s take a quick look back at the evolution of this space.  When we purchased the #staggreno, remember what it looked like?   (Watch the before, and Anna’s nursery reveal here!)  Drab and dark and outdated.  When we moved in, the room became Anna’s nursery.  Though it clearly needed a makeover, her room is the only room in the whole house we didn’t change structurally.  It was all cosmetic changes in here.

It’s so interesting, with each baby I’ve had very different colors and moods come to mind for each of their rooms, so the space had a totally different look and feel when it belonged to Anna.  When I found out I was expecting Vivienne, Anna got an upgrade to another room in the home and this space got another makeover to fit our little Vivie.  Enter bold colors and whimsical details.

So let’s talk about different features in the space.  I used our Stagg Design Modern Dot wallpaper on the accent wall with her crib.  I love that it is a sophisticated pattern that can grow with her.  And if we decide to move her to a different room eventually, it can easily translate to a guest room or office space.  It is one of my favorite design elements in the room!

Vivie and Anna are only 19 months apart so Anna needed to keep her crib.  I knew immediately I wanted this crib for Vivie’s room.  It is gorgeous in person and so sturdy.  And I think a great price.

The dresser is a vintage dresser that was actually original to our house.  I bought it in the estate sale!  We repainted it and it’s just perfect in the room.  My dear Aunt Vickey has made beautiful dresses for each of my girls as infants and that’s Vivie’s hanging in her gallery wall.  I think each room just has to have sentimental pieces.
