I’m always switching things up around here. It’s like an itch that needs to be scratched– moving pillows around, hanging new art, adding in new decorative accent pieces. An area that sees a lot of change, both seasonally and because it’s so darn fun, the entry way.
Every other week or so I start moving things around. I recently added a few new pieces, mixed in a few things I had around my home, and this is the latest version of my entry console table:
Butterfly Print c/o Birch Lane | Books: Domino, Decorate, Upholstery | Basket | Pillows | Elephant (from local Homegoods) | Lamp | Mirror (similar style)
They are little changes and I’m sure it will change many more times, but the new things I added in I can see in a million different places in my home. I love the butterfly print from Birch Lane so much and want to use it everywhere and the elephant could easily go on a bookshelf or accent table.
Are you a chronic rearranger like me?
Tomorrow I’m taking you back in the kitchen and showing you an easy way to do something that can seem difficult and intimidating– changing out faucets.
Hope you have a wonderful day!
Wow! I love this. I am just such a terrible decorator. I wish I had half the decorating skills that you have!
Gorgeous!
Do you have any suggestions for arrangements that are eye-pleasing? Is there some sort of rule of thumb about the heights/layers you should use, how many pieces, etc.? I’ve been attempting to style a little table in our hall, but I feel like it’s not really working.
