We can’t talk about the Parade Home without talking about the views. The VIEWS! This house sits atop a mountainside and the views from every window and deck are truly spectacular. You can literally see every part of the Salt Lake Valley. It’s unreal.
Today I’m sharing the Parade Outdoor Spaces which include the roof top deck, the back patio/deck, and the home’s exterior.
Let’s start with the webisode tour of the outdoor living spaces. It gives you a great view from up above and takes you on a virtual tour.
I know, right?! For our blog tour, let’s start on the roof top deck. This is a beautiful spot on the upper level next to the guest suite. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view.
We wanted it to invite conversation so we went with four large, comfortable lounge chairs around a fire pit. There’s also an awesome swinging bench. The planters and string lights add to the ambiance.
On the main floor, there’s a large deck off the of the family room and kitchen. It’s ideal for entertaining, and we created multiple spots with a natural flow to dine, hang out, and take in the valley and mountain skyline.

The front of the house carries that feeling of cool modern. This home has a moody, edgy vibe throughout. That continuity of feeling is so important to our design team.
This project was a dream to work on. Blue Atlas Homes is truly an artist and if you’re in the market for a custom home, you’ll definitely want to give him a call.
Be sure to check out the rest of this home! It’s a showstopper.
