It’s done! The master bathroom is done! This was a major project– the most expensive in our home to date in fact– and I’ve got a spring in my step ever since we completed it.
First, let’s take a look back at its humble (read: ugly) beginnings…
The blah colors, the bizarre light fixture/shelf, the carpeted floor, the framed glass, I could go on and on, really. But instead, let’s just get right to it, shall we? (you can see demo and construction here)
Here she is, ladies and gentlemen, in all of her bright and shiny glory.
Sigh, I’m just in love. Get ready for a flood of DIY’s and details breaking the whole space down this week. It feels so good to check this one off the list.
Tomorrow, I’ve got a great tutorial for you– one you can whip up in an hour. It’s a goodie.
Happy Monday!
Congratulations, this is gorgeous! I have never understood why people put carpet in a bathroom – yuck! The final result is nothing short of beautiful though!
What a beautiful and fresh space. I adore every single detail.
When you’re done, I’m just going to buy your house as is okay ? It’s like my dream home.

You did an absolutely stunning job with your finish selections! Love the difference the marble top makes.
I still can’t figure out why you bought the house in the first place if you hated every little thing about it so so much. It’s very fascinating!
Hi Jill, we certainly didn’t hate every little thing about our house. We loved many things, which is why we bought it. The bones, layout, location, proximity to family, and the list goes on. We were excited to change things cosmetically, which is what I love to do. Remodeling and decorating is something we enjoy. We hope you enjoy following the transformation as well. Thanks for reading.
Did I overlook the pant color? Is it blue heather as well? Very pretty. Thanks!
Thank you Amanda! It’s the same color, just lightened!
I found your lovely bathroom makeover on Pinterest and I’m in love!!!! It’s so bright and cheery!
Thank you so much, Selene! Hope you’ll stay awhile:)

Hi! I love your master bath reno! We’re working on ours right now and yours is some great inspo! Would you share the measurements for the wall with the shower/tub? I cannot decide if I have room for both or need to do a combo, but the size of your shower looks great and doable for my space. Thanks!
Hi there! I’m so sorry– we don’t live there anymore so I can’t measure!
I have a general question the width of the wall with tub and shower on from end to end thank you .
