I’m excited to participate in this year’s Blogger Stylin’ Home Tours, put on by my girl Lindsey at The White Buffalo Styling Co. You may be hopping over from Mimosa Lane, who is right before me in the tour and clearly shares my love of brass animal figurines and all things fur. For those of you who are new to withHEART, first a brief intro/background.
Well, hello there! I’m Jen, and we just moved into our newly renovated (the only thing we kept original was a fireplace) 1970 mid-century ranch. It’s been quite the journey getting here (you can see more by clicking on all of the before’s HERE). Along the way we added a new baby to our family just because we like to keep things nice and simple around here, wink wink.
The only room I’ve fully revealed from the #staggreno (follow along on instagram!) is the kitchen and what a reveal it was. Today I thought it would be fun to share a few snippets of fall decor from that room, but also reveal the front porch, fully decked out in fall decor.
I just love this time of year. It makes me want to throw on a turtle neck, break out the number 2 pencils, and carve a pumpkin. Miss Ruby (my 3 year-old) keeps telling me “mama, I love Halloweentime!” and I do too. As such, we felt a decking of our porch was in order.
Fall is such an expensive time to porch decorate too, as most pumpkins are so cheap. I got 12 of the larger size for 3 dollars.
Bats | Lanterns | Flower Pots
Inside I added a few simple styling items to bring in some fun and fall flavor.
Copper Mugs | Scull Candle Sticks from Homegoods
Would you believe those itty bitty pumpkins on a stick are in fact alive? Amazing. I picked them p at Trader Joes. Man, I love that place.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you stay awhile.

After I told you this past week over dinner how much I adored your kitchen and now seeing your front door and entrance too, I figured out what it is that makes my heart pitter-patter when I see your home. It is European! The lines of your entrance and front door is something you would totally see in Germany somewhere and it so makes me think of home. Just love your house so so much. Have a great week.
what a gorgeous welcome at your front door! so fun!
Oh, I love it! So festive! This is making me want to go to the pumpkin patch 🙂 It was so great to see you in NYC friend!! I wish we had an extra day just to hang in the city and do fun things like shop and eat at amazing places together. Next time we need to work that out! Also, I am so happy to see you in your new home making it your own, especially after all you had to go though. I think the rest of the year is going to be amazing for you and your sweet fam. The kitchen is AMAZING! IIt really inspires me as we are remodeling ours right now. Can’t wait to follow you from afar 🙂 xo
