9 Things to Know Before Hiring a Contractor ft. Jon

Home improvement projects are stressful enough to begin with, but add a bad contractor to the mix, and the whole process can feel even scarier. So how do you know if you’re hiring someone who will help rather than hurt your progress? And when things go wrong, how do you pick up all the pieces and finish the project if a contractor leaves you high and dry? Jen and Jon have been there, and today they’re sharing some of the things everyone needs to know before hiring help. As a bonus, they’re also discussing the time a contractor left them in the lurch just days before a big photo shoot.
