A while ago, little Miss Anna and I were invited to attend a progressive dinner put on by Oakwood Homes, a local Utah homebuilder. Touring homes is sort of a sick obsession of mine, so when they said “hey, come look at some beautifully decorated model houses and eat some yummy food,” I was all on board.
We toured the Ruston Meadows and Thatcher Park developments, both in South Jordan. I’m typically not a huge fan of builder home option selections. They can be too generic, cheap, tacky, and can have too few options for my liking. I’m more of a custom home build kind of gal, but I’ve worked with Oakwood in the past and I’m always surprised by their selection and quality of selections offered.
Baby girl was the perfect plus-1.
The event was at dusk, so the photos are a bit dark, but the windows in every home were ah-mazing.
If you’re local, I think a stop at Oakwood Home’s massive design center is a must. Even if you’re just getting ideas for a future home, they really have some beautiful options.
Thanks Oakwood for hosting such a fun event!
