Modern Barstool Options

Are you loving the Blogger Stylin’ Home Tour as much as I am? I’ve been dying over everyone’s homes. There are sure a lot of talented people in the world, aren’t there?
I’m flip-flopping back and forth a bit but I wanted to go back to the kitchen and talk about barstools– how we found ours for the #staggreno kitchen and a few of my favorites.
To say I scoured the web looking for the perfect barstools for this room would be, well, correct. I ordered two other options first before I found a winner. They just didn’t feel right. But once I found these and I pulled them out of the box and put them in the room, I knew they were the keeper.
So what was I looking for? I wanted something modern, clean and simple, unique without being too over the top, and at my husband’s request, something that was the right height. The problem with so many stools is that they’re either too short (at counter height) or too tall (at barstool height). I’m not sure why so many maker’s get it wrong.
Also, this stool is super light weight so I’m not really worried about it damaging the floor. Here were a few of the other contenders, and a roundup of some great modern barstool options:
