Parents Magazine reached out to me a while back, asking me to participate in a challenge with four other bloggers– come up with an IKEA changing table hack and transform it into something with a totally different purpose. With Ruby’s love of art and craft projects top of mind, I happily signed on! Here’s what I came up with:
For under $50, I turned the changing table into a Creativity Cart. Easy access to art and craft supplies, and a place to put all of it that can easily be wheeled in and out of a room.
This was a surprisingly easy project. You could totally do it to any old changing table. You can find all the details over on parents.com, along with the other really cool transformations from the other bloggers! Also, watch for my project in the new May edition of Parents Magazine, on store shelves soon!
Hope you’re enjoying your spring day as much as I am!
Such cute project and photos! Truly a lovely and innovative way to spruce up a cart. There are endless possibilities 🙂
This is awesome. I literally just saw this in my copy of the mag. Where are the details? Your link directs to a secure page. Their site directs me back here. I’d love to make this.
Thank you so much! I think you have to register with their website in order to see all the details. It’s an email signup I believe. Thanks for stopping by!
Love this adorable art cart! It is very innovative. If you don’t mind, would you please share where you got the three containers that hold the markers and scissors? How did you keep clothespin attached to rhe railing?
Thank you for your time.
Thank you so much! Containers are dollar section at Target. I used command strip hooks!
