DIY Open Shelves with Frigidaire Professional

July 13, 2016

Open shelving is one of the hottest trends in kitchen design right now.  It doesn’t show any signs of going away any time soon and allows for both a beautiful display area and a practical, go-to for every day dishes and cookbooks.

You can create your own, as I did with Frigidaire Professional, and instantly transform your space.  It’s part of a video series we collaborated on, presenting approachable DIY projects you can tackle over a weekend.

Watch the video tutorial below for these do-it-yourself open shelves.

I loved this project so much!  The best part—I picked up all the supplies at a local hardware store.  Simple, and inexpensive.  You can add an instant update to your kitchen.  You can find all of the step-by-step instructions HERE.

Such a simple and easy project that makes a huge impact. What color stain was that? It’s a great color for adding warmth without coming off as orange or too dark.
