GRATEFUL (+ giveaway winner announced)

It’s been a crazy/busy/whacky week full of far too much working and projects and not enough sleep or time with my little family. I feel like I’ve been sprinting from project to meeting to Home Depot (and back again and again. Patio Style Challenge projects in full swing!) with nap times and playtimes mixed in between.
And in the middle of my frantic day yesterday, I received the most amazing news….
You guys, withHEART won Editor’s Choice for the DIY Category in the Better Homes and Gardens’ 2014 Blogger Awards! (!!!!!!!!!!!!) As part of the award, I’ll be featured in Better Homes and Gardens Magazine this spring/summer (I’ll let you know which issue when I do!), along with the Reader’s Choice in the same category, Vintage Revivals, and the other winners in each category (be sure to check them all out on BHG’s Facebook page). It’s such an unexpected and amazing honor– thank you so much, BHG! This is a post that warrants many exclamation points!
I am simply so grateful. Grateful for the sweet readers who nominated me. Grateful for each and every one of you who voted, and voted again. Grateful the editors of BHG saw something inspiring here on withHEART, and grateful for every click, pin, comment, like, and view I get from each of you each day. withHEART is about exactly what it sounds like– following your instincts, trusting your abilities, and going after your goals by giving your all. I’m so lucky I get to do just that. So thank you, and thank you again.
I’m celebrating my win this weekend by doing, what else, a DIY. Jon and I will be hard at work transforming our deck into an outdoor dining space. Can’t wait to share it with you soon! I also plan to squeeze in some Ruby hugs. I hope you get to spend some time with your life’s loves as well.
