Hello from Haven Conference in Atlanta! I’ve mentioned before here how terrified I am of flying and as luck would have it, my flight here was the bumpiest I’ve ever been on. In a moment of sheer terror I grabbed the sleeping stranger next to me and held on for dear life. He was so gracious and I was mortified. Yay for being awesome!
I’m speaking at the conference and meeting so many wonderful people I’ve known through the blog world for quite some time. It’s fun to spend some time with like-minded women, but I’m sure missing my peeps at home. Jon is taking care of a sick little Ruby. Bad timing!
We cherish the time we have together as a family. When I was working full time, I grabbed on to every moment of quality time as if it was my last and that mentality has stuck with me even now as I work mostly from home, during the night as Ruby sleeps. One of our favorite family activities is family movie night. Ruby’s favorite food on the planet is popcorn and she loves to help make a batch.
We all settle into our spots in the family room. Ruby has quite the sweet setup, in her Ruby-sized chair, with baby and her own bowl of popcorn in hand, and her favorite cuddly blanket from Saranoni.
Saranoni is a luxury blanket company and they recently sent us a few of their gorgeous blankets. Ruby immediately latched on to hers because these blankets may be the softest things we have ever felt. Literally. The softest most amazing blankets. I’ve never felt anything like them.
Not only are they comfortable, but they are beautiful as well. They look pretty on display and in a basket, they are practical and easy to grab and curl up with.
These blankets will grow with our family for years to come. I love them so much. And great news– Saranoni is giving away one home throw of the winner’s choice to one lucky With Heart reader/follower! We have the gray stripe throw and it’s amazing. It feels like the softest fur you’ve ever felt.

Disney movies are always great in our house, even though we’re all grown, but my favorites: Independence Day on the 4th of July and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation around Christmas. Those blankets look so comfy!
We’re all about Finding Nemo as we’ll, although my daughter calls it “goldfish.”
Lego Movie is on repeat at our house! Following you both on Instagram. Crossing my fingers!!
We’ve been reading books together then watching the movie. Just did Matilda, now working on charlottes web
We love all things with a mystery, and the British Mysteries are favorites – Sherlock, Inspector Morse, all Masterpiece Mysteries. I’m always cold, so I would love a nice blanket to keep in my living room!
Love your blog and how you treasure your time with your family! I totally feel ya on the working mom life! You look like you handle it perfectly! Those blankets look so comfy!

It isn’t a movie, but it sure is good, Scandal.
Lately it has been the Hobbit movies and you can never have enough blankets.
I love any chick flick!
My kids are older but we’re loving Phantom of the Opera right now!
Our recent movie nights have been LOTR-based. We watched The Two Towers last weekend so the next movie night we schedule will feature Return of the King.
Frozen has been playing non-stop at our house for way too many months. Lately, though, my little boy has become fascinated with Toy Story. It’s all about Woody and Buzz or “Boody and Wuzz” as he says it.
I am following you and Saranoni on Instagram.
I saw you at Zurchers a couple weeks ago. I wanted to come say hi to tell you how much I love your blog and what a big fan I was of you during your news reporting days, but then I thought you might think I’m a total creeper. I followed the news pretty closely while I was in college (comm major), and hands down you’re one of the best out there. It was good to see you in person from afar!
I wish you would have said hello! You are so sweet, thank you for your kind words! If you see me again, stop me! xx
Toy Stories, Shrek, Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles to name a few…We like to throw in movies that have a splash of more mature humor that might fly over the Littles heads – that way everyone’s satisfied! Those cozy blankets would be the perfect thing for our summer edition movie nights outside on the projector!
We’ve been very into The Incredibles lately. 🙂
Welove Disney and Frozen has been a family favorite since it came out. Plus I LOVE saranoni their swaddle blankets are the best they don’t shirk like other swaddle blankets they stay big so far those are her favorite blankets to use for bed.
I love classics or movies that go back into time. Looking forward to watching the Disney collection once my baby girl is grown up.
We love pretty much all the Disney movies. And those blankets look amazing!
One of my favorite movies to watch when I need a good laugh is City Slickers! It’s an oldie but a goodie!
Oooh, I love cuddling up in a LoveSac with my nephews watching Frozen…. A hot summer in Oklahoma and all we want to do is build a snowman! 🙂
My 2 year old is on a cloudy with a chance of meatballs kick. That’s all he has watched for 3 days now!

My son asks for Anna and Olaf daily, so lately Frozen is our go-to movie on movie nights! Awesome giveaway!
My toddler loves Baby Einstein. I can’t wait until he has the attention span for Disney movies (he is 21 months). Followed both on instagram :))
The Princess Bride is definitely a movie night favorite in our house!
the last family move night we had was to watch Frozen which the kiddos love to sing along with!
Our favorite movie night always includes Ghostbusters!
The Sandlot
Frozen may have been on repeat for the past few weeks…
Our favorite movie for movie night is ‘How to Train Your Dragon’. Can you guess my oldest is a boy? I can’t wait until my 2 month old baby girl gets old enough to enjoy movies and we can break out the princess movies!
I follow you both on Instagram. @jlbbrown13
Jodi
Despicable Me 2. No matter how many times we’ve seen it, the whole family loves watching it and cracking up! 🙂
We always love watching frozen no matter how many times we have seen it
Our family movie right now are the Croods . following as instagram.com/sandyhills25
Movie and popcorn are the best. I have lost count on how many times we have watched frozen in the last few months. Our bellies and brains are full. We would love a new blanky to fight over.
I would have to choose Star Wars! 🙂
Popcorn is my go-to snack. Especially with caramel or fajita seasoning. YUM. And our movie is Turbo.
The Croods
SANDLOT, CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN and IRON GIANT are our go-to family movies. We have watched them many a times with great enjoyment!
For family movie night it would be Frozen or The Lego movie. Love popcorn as our snack!!
Lately we have Frozen on repeat much to my son’s horror. But my daughter loves it! We are thinking of trying the Incredibles because it might appeal to both.
My little is going through chemo right now so we have a few movies we love to cuddle up to. By far our favorite right now is Free Willy with a side of Kettle Corn! 🙂
We had movie night last night- it involved an abundance of homemade caramel popcorn and a nice film you might have heard of- “Honey, I shrunk the kids.” I downright cried when the ant died.
I think our favorite for movie night is how to train your dragon! So cute with great humor!
Frozen is the only movie my little one wil watch anymore!
