We go through a lot of tissues at our house. I have a box on the kitchen counter, one in each bathroom, little pocket sized packages in my glove box, my purse, and in my diaper bag. Perhaps it’s that I’m a germophobe, but I believe tissues could help bring about world peace. Ok, that’s a bit extreme. But they can at least make my day cleaner and tidier, and I’m always finding new uses for them.
There’s the obvious reasons when you’re caring for a toddler, but when I was reporting and anchoring, I would always use a tissue to dab off any oily makeup and dirt before reapplying a fresh face for the 10 o’clock news. But there’s a problem with most tissue boxes. How do I put this…. they have a way of reminding me of my grandmother, who also always carried tissue. The boxes are ugly, the plastic packages less than appealing, and I typically find myself shoving them in the cupboard when we have guests.
So when Kleenex asked me to sample their new box styles (Kleenex style!), I was pretty excited to test them out in my home. Well, as excited as a package of tissues can make you:)
I mean, how cute are these? They add a pop of color with a pretty pattern in both my guest bathroom, and my family room.
But my favorite are these little mini packages, perfect for keeping in my purse or diaper bag.
Check out the new Kleenex patterns, and I’m sure you can find your style!

And in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, a wildly under celebrated holiday in my opinion, I thought it would be fun to look back at one of the loveliest parties I’ve ever thrown! You guys, those recipes are treasures. Please go make them. Your family will thank you. And you’ll feel festive, without drinking green milk.
Wonderful weekend to ya! (sort of like top ‘o the morning’)
