Happy Monday! Last week we started sharing one of our recently complete client projects with the bunk room of all bunk rooms. And today, we’re kicking off the new week by sharing another beautiful room from Project Fit Fam– the master bedroom.
This room is airy, bright, yet we added some high contrast with blacks, whites, and greens. We wanted the room to function really well and be easy to keep styled. We went for one of my favorite beds with a channeled headboard (in fact I have the same one in my own master bedroom, just in a different fabric). It’s from a designer resource, but if you’re here locally we can order for you! The nightstands were existing, and fit really well with what we wanted to accomplish in the space.
The artwork above the bed is from one of my favorite modern artists, Christie Adelle. I’ve used her work a lot in our designs and she is so delightful to work with.
I frequently get asked about how to choose pillow combinations for beds. For a king, this is a combo I love: three euros, three 20×20’s, and two 16×26. In this room we used our Stagg Design Shop Brushstroke Plaid in Forest and our Signature Leather Pillows in Camel. I swear you can’t go wrong with our Signature pillows. I’ve yet to find a room they don’t work in.
We kept the dresser and nightstand styling simple and fresh. I loved that our clients requested a tv NOT go in their master bedroom. So refreshing. We selected some soothing artwork that pulled just a touch of green over to the other side of the room, and a strong dresser with a fun texture.
We’ve got a lot more coming up in this beautiful home to share! You can also check out our portfolio of recent work. It’s such a fun dive into past projects.
Wishing you all a good week ahead! We are all dealing with uncertain times, trying circumstances, and big decisions about schooling and activities. I, like so many of you, are doing my best to navigate it all as a parent and business owner. Sending you all love and peace.
