Sugar Plum Fairy Party (and winner announced!)

December 24, 2015

We took Ruby to see the Nutcracker for the first time this year to see her cousin who was dancing as s Bon Bon.  My 3-year-old ballerina was completely entranced.  She was dancing in the isles and her favorite part was the Sugar Plum Fairy.  I had been planning to hold some kind of winter party for her and some friends and knew the Nutcracker theme was a must.

I worked with Oriental Trading Company to put together the sweetest party for Ruby and her friends.  Eleven little ballerinas became Sugar Plum Fairies in training.

Here’s a little preview of the party:

This party was packed full of the funnest activities, sweetest details and adorable favors.  Here’s where you can find all the details:

This party was one for the books, and definitely a theme we plan to do again and again.  I loved working with Oriental Trading on this fun party!  They are a rabbit’s hole of entertaining resources (and at completely affordable pricing).

And I can’t forget the winner of the Zestt giveaway.  Congrats to:

Katey who said: Like so many others we love the traditional cheese ball. wouldnt be Christmas without it!

The mice knife set will be perfect for the cheese ball!

Wow! So incredibly cute and clever! Both of my daughters danced in Ballet West’s Nutcracker so for about five years, I went to at least five performances each Christmas! Ali, my oldest was both a red and blue soldier and Brooke, the youngest, was a little bouncing buffoon. Ruby must try out when she is about eight (that was the age when my girls were young.) It is a lovely and wonderful experience. Your party looks lovely, fun, and cute–just like everything you post!

Warmest wishes for happiness this season and throughout the year,
    Crystal
