Happy Friday! My, this has been a long week. We are mid master bathroom remodel, Jon has been working around the clock, and it’s been rainy, putting a bit of a damper on anything fun outdoors. I’m ready for a weekend with my loves.
Today I’m sharing some of my recent favorite things.
Monday we had a lovely Cinco De Mayo get together with friends. We have a long standing tradition in our household of Burrito Fete. Fete is party in French, an while my husband was living in France for two years on a service mission for our church, he and the other missionaries started having burrito gatherings. They made burrito shells from scratch using Creme Fraiche and laid out fresh ingredients as fillings. We have carried on the celebration as long as we’ve been married, and it’s one of my favorite days of the year.
This year we invited our dear friends over and I made The Pioneer Woman’s Tres Leches. Oh man, I insist you go make this cake immediately. It may be one of the most heavenly things I’ve eaten, ever.
And how pretty are these Dansk Lotta Jansdotter dishes? Her patterns are so fresh and fun, I was excited to break them in for the party.
Speaking of entertaining, I’m in love with this Beehive Drink Dispenser. I do live in the Beehive state, after all.
I’m in the market for some new cookware and I can’t stop thinking about these.
These beach towels (and all of the other NB styles) are on my summer wish list.
These storage crates are brilliant and so cute.
I think this would be so pretty on any bookshelf. I love the color so very much.
I think I need this dress. And this one too.
And if someone wanted to buy me this, I wouldn’t complain one bit.
Happy Mother’s Day to all of you! I’m so grateful my sweet little Ruby made me one. Life is so much better with her in the world.
