I’m excited to share a recently completed client project with you today: the Herriman Master. It was a room with a strict budget and some design challenges. Here’s an idea what we were working with.
The walls were beige, the furniture was outdated, and a large and oddly shaped window were all things that needed to be addressed. My client wanted a retreat– a cheerful and airy space that felt like a grown-up master bedroom. She is a mother to small children and needed a space that felt like it reflected her personality. First thing we did was paint the room a bright and airy green/blue/gray. We also added the board and batten wall behind the bed (her handy husband whipped that out!) I was able to really hunt for deals and I love how the room all came together. Take a look!
I’m starting to fill up my schedule between now and when the baby arrives. I do have a couple more openings for both e-design and local client work. If you’re interested, contact me at jen@withheart.com.
Thank you to my sweet client! So happy you love your space!
Love this room, I absolutly love the board and batten and that its just clean straight lines and not squares. Will you share the paint color???
Thank you so much! The paint is Frosty White from Sherwin Williams.
Super pretty Jen!!
Thank you, sweet Sarah!
Love this bedroom! I’d love a source list – especially the headboard and chaise lounge!
Thanks Amanda! I don’t think it’s fair to my clients to always list every source for their homes, but I’m happy to give you a few sources. The headboard is from Target and the chaise is from Homegoods. Thanks for reading!
Nice! Looks so beautiful and comfy!

My local Home Depot doesn’t carry that sunburst mirror and I MUST have one!! I’ve looked online but can’t find it. What store did you buy yours at? Thanks so much. I love your website!!
I’m not sure they carry it anymore! It’s the Martha Stewart line. Hope that helps!
What paint color are the walls? I assume Frosty White is the wall behind the bed. I love this grey!
Hi there! It’s Gray Owl from Benjamin Moore
