A New Family of Four

Our little Stagg clan has expanded. Our sweet baby Anna Victoria entered the world on the first day of spring, last Friday, and we are in newborn heaven over here. She is such a sweet, good natured baby who loves to sleep and cuddle. Ruby is an adoring and concerned big sister who asks constantly to hold, “take care of”, kiss, and help with her little sister. It’s both adorable and a little stressful:)
I was a little nervous about how adding another little person would change our family dynamic– if Ruby would resent her, if I could ever love another child as much as I love Ruby. But now that she is here, it’s like my heart has more than doubled and though I’m sure we will run into an adjustment period for Ruby, I know our family now feels complete with Anna in it.
From the moment Ruby saw Anna, it’s been complete adoration. Here are a few photos from Anna’s birthday captured by Veronica Reeve (who also photographed Ruby’s birthday). I couldn’t love these people of mine more.
Thank you for all of your well wishes on instagram, Facebook, and twitter! I’m taking a couple weeks off of client work, but I’ll still be posting on here (including a fresh video this week and some fun client reveals!). I hope you’ll forgive me if I don’t respond to email quite as promptly. I’m busy loving on this new little lady.

Your little family is beautiful. Being a mom of 2 little girls, I was excited for you when you announced you were having a girl. i have so much fun with my girls and am so thankful for both of them. My oldest daughter born in 2007 is named Anna Victoria. Being a girl mom is such a special gift!

Congrats!!!! Just precious! You briought me back in time…. my girls are 10 & 7- just 2yrs and 10 months apart. Time goes by soo fast-cherish this time. The future will continue to bring so much joy and happiness, but these beginnings are so incredible and precious. My girls are the best of friends and even to this day they continue to care for one another! They race to each other’s room in the am to see who’s awake etc. I believe so strongly in the sister bond as I am lucky to have two. Nurture that love and bond it will last FOREVER!
