I hope you had a wonderful Labor Day! Ours was filled with mostly work (on some super exciting things I cannot wait to tell you about!) and some play with our little family. It finally feels like fall around these parts and this very pregnant mama is loooooving the cool down!
Now that we’re back into school, we tightened down on bedtimes. Story time is a favorite time of the day for all of us, and like most 4-year-olds, Ruby sleeps with a nightlight.
We had been using a plug in, which worked fine, but we recently got an upgrade in Ruby’s room and she loves it.
adorne by Legrand reached out to me for a collaboration and after checking out their products, I knew it would be perfect for Ruby’s room. Their light switches are not only modern and chic, they’re totally kid friendly.
Ruby can easily switch on her light and adjust the brightness using the dimmer. Her favorite upgrade, however, is the built-in nightlight/flashlight. It turns on automatically when her light is off, but then she can push it to make it brighter or dimmer, and even– get this– turn it into a flashlight that she can pop out and take to bed.
Check out the sweet video of our bedtime story routine:

The light switch installs pretty much just like a typical light switch– really homeowner friendly. The nightlight/flashlight installs into an outlet. I also think they would be beautiful in hallways so you can see where you’re going at night without turning on a full blown hall light.
I’m hoping to squeeze in another room reveal this week, so check back! When I’m able to spill the beans over what I’ve been working on, my radio silence will hopefully make sense.
Have a great week!
